After 7 months since the last face-to-face consortium meeting in Mondragón, Spain, the HIPERION consortium gathered on the 18th and 19th of May 2022 in Łódź, Poland, for the M33 General Assembly meeting and official EC Review 2 meeting.

The 2-day meeting was kindly hosted by Lodz University of Technology, who warmly welcomed the partners at their facilities and ensured a smooth and successful meeting organisation.

The General Assembly meeting and technical working sessions held on Day 1 allowed to discuss internally about the progress performed in each work package, set the next steps, tackle any blocking issues and come up with suitable mitigation actions.

On Day 2, the official project Review 2 meeting was held under the supervision of the EC Project Officer, Maider Machado. Despite the delays caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, which specifically impacted the pilot line setup, the project received a positive assessment, which motivates HIPERION partners to keep up the good work over the third and last project period.

The closing meeting highlight was the visit of Lodz University of Technology facilities, led by passionate Professors.

HIPERION consortium partners were glad to meet up again, not only to discuss and fix the major next steps towards the achievement of the project milestones, but also to exchange more informally during the social events organised in Łódź.
