On the 18th-19th October 2022, the HIPERION consortium gathered for the M36 General Assembly meeting in Porto, Portugal, hosted by partner MUON ELECTRIC.

As the HIPERION project entered its last project year, the General Assembly meeting allowed to discuss key technical issues in each work package and set the main next steps towards the successful achievement of the project objectives.

The meeting was closed with a group visit to the HIPERION GEN2 pilot site located in Vila do Conde, in the North of Porto. The pilot site, that was deployed in October 2022, was installed under MUON ELECTRIC coordination with support provided by consortium partners INSOLIGHT and 3S Swiss Solar Solutions AG.

In particular, we will report about the installation early 2023 of the two next HIPERION pilot sites, respectively in Chile, under ENGIE Laborelec coordination, and in Switzerland, under 3S Swiss Solar Solutions AG leadership.
