Right at the entrance to the world-famous winter sports resort of Gstaad, Switzerland, the installation of the second HIPERION pilot site was successfully achieved in March 2023, under the coordination of consortium partner 3S Swiss Solar Solutions.

The Swiss solar module manufacturer 3S Swiss Solar Solutions acts as HIPERION industrial partner and produced the backplane of the special modules for the alpine test facility. Together with the local technical partner SolarUp, a total of 15 modules were installed on a tiled roof.

The data of the plant, which is located at 1050 meters above sea level, is now continuously checked and evaluated by HIPERION Technical Leader company Insolight.
