The HIPERION project had the opportunity to be represented at the 2021 Photovoltaic Reliability Workshop (PVRW) hosted by NREL, which was held online between 22 – 26 February 2021.

The PVRW workshop is organised annually and gathers solar technology experts to discuss on current and forward-thinking subject matter in PV module and system reliability.

HIPERION consortium partners Dominika Chudy (Insolight), Guido Vallerotto and Ignacio Antón (UPM) gave a presentation on HIPERION PV module innovation with a focus on the qualification process, entitled: “Definition of New Standard for Design Qualification of Hybrid Si/III-V and Translucent Planar Micro-Tracking Modules”. The presentation was successful and raised several discussions; it was also a good opportunity to communicate about the project within an international PV professional audience.
